The Uncharted 4: A Thief's End gameplay trailer ended with a surprise reveal this weekend at the PlayStation Experience, but what we saw was only half the story.
Voice actor Nolan North will continue wisecracking as the series' consummate protagonist, Nathan Drake, who we now know isn't an only child. Over the weekend, voice actor Troy Baker revealed that he'll be playing Nate's unnamed brother.
"Good to see you're alive, little brother." Yes, that was me. Damn proud.
— Troy Baker (@TroyBakerVA) December 6, 2014The pairing of two Naughty Dog veterans directly unites two of the biggest actors in the video game ecosystem.
Among many others, North portrayed Desmond Miles in the Assassin's Creed series; the Penguin in the Batman: Arkham series; David in The Last of Us; Captain Martin Walker in Spec Ops: The Line; and in acknowledgement of his ubiquity, himself in Saint's Row 4.
Baker's credits include Booker DeWitt in BioShock Infinite; Joel in The Last of Us; Talion in Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor; and Pagan Min in Far Cry 4.
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is headed to PlayStation 4 sometime in 2015. Watch the first gameplay video to see the duo together.
